Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is your office located?

  • For acute health conditions, how long will it take to see results?

Many acute conditions are a result of built-up patterns of movement that have developed over time, placing those areas at risk.

The focus of care is to not just to relieve pain but to also make sure your body and nervous system become strong and stable

so the main issue doesn’t return. For that reason, many of our treatment plans span over 2-3 months depending on what we find

    during your first visit.

We’ll do more adjustments in the beginning to break the cycle. Once that happens, you’ll come in once per week for 8-10 weeks to

reinforce initial corrections. WHY CHIROPRACTIC WORKS

  • What if I have multiple spinal fusions?

That’s not a problem. We’ll simply work around them.

  • How does chiropractic break the cycle of pain?

When the body is stuck in a cycle of chronic pain, that cycle must be broken. We do this by performing more adjustments early on

in treatment to re-train the body to function normally.

  • Why do I feel good some days but other days I don’t?

  • I’m afraid of chiropractic adjustments. I’ve heard they hurt.

There’s no need to be afraid! Chiropractic is not painful, and we have three types of adjustments. We’re sure that one of them will work perfectly for you! You can learn about those techniques here. Chiropractic Techniques

  • How do chiropractors know where to crack on the body?

Besides my extensive training, I take a detailed history of your current complaint, ask about your lifestyle, and perform a thorough physical examination. Typically, that includes assessing your range of motion, functional movements, muscle strength, and joint mobility. I may also conduct neurological and orthopedic test to gather additional information. Together, this tells me where I need to adjust.

  • How does chiropractic help chronic medical conditions?

Chiropractic care works with the neuromusculoskeletal system. That is, the nerves, bones, tendons, and ligaments. A chiropractor can help manage back and neck pain through spinal manipulation to help you maintain good alignment. These adjustments improve the body’s ability to perform and to improve the functioning of other systems in the body.

  • Does chiropractic help with other conditions besides neck, shoulder, and back pain?

Yes! Many of our patients have seen excellent results with conditions such as Crohn’s Disease, migraines, constipation, insomnia,

acid reflux, food intolerances, and more.
