We are located at 520 Lew Dewitt Blvd, Suite 402, in Waynesboro, Virginia. Parking is available right outside the building, and the office is easy to find from the main road.
Many acute conditions are rooted in movement patterns that have developed over time, placing repeated stress on specific areas of the body. Our goal is not simply to relieve pain but to make sure your body and nervous system become strong and stable so the root problem does not come back.
For that reason, most care plans run 2 to 3 months, depending on what we find during your first visit. We start with more frequent adjustments early on to break the cycle. Once that shift happens, visits move to once per week for 8 to 10 weeks to reinforce those initial corrections.
Not a problem at all. We will simply work around the fused areas and tailor your care plan to what your body can comfortably receive. Your history does not disqualify you from getting the help you need.
Natural healing is not a straight line. In the early weeks of care, it is completely normal to have ups and downs as your body adapts to proper alignment. Those fluctuations are a sign that your nervous system is recalibrating, not a sign that something is wrong.
As your body learns to hold its corrections and the new alignment becomes familiar, the good days will begin to far outweigh the difficult ones. Consistency in your visits is the biggest factor in how quickly that shift happens.
There is no need to worry. Chiropractic care is not painful, and we offer three different types of adjustments at Healing Path. We are confident that at least one of them will feel comfortable and work well for you. You are always in control of your care, and we take time at every visit to make sure you feel at ease before we begin.
Beyond years of clinical training, we take a detailed history of your current complaint and your lifestyle, then perform a thorough physical examination. That typically includes assessing your range of motion, functional movement patterns, muscle strength, and joint mobility. We may also run neurological and orthopedic tests to gather additional insight.
All of that together gives us a clear picture of where your body needs attention, so every adjustment is purposeful and specific to you.
When the body is stuck in a cycle of chronic pain, that cycle has to be interrupted before lasting relief is possible. We do this by scheduling more frequent adjustments early in your care plan to retrain your body and restore normal, pain-free function. Once the cycle is broken, visits become less frequent as your body learns to maintain the correction on its own.
Chiropractic care works with the neuromusculoskeletal system, which includes your nerves, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Spinal adjustments help restore proper alignment throughout the spine, which improves the body's ability to perform and supports the healthy function of other systems throughout the body. When communication between your brain and body is clear, your body simply works better.
Absolutely. Many of our patients have experienced excellent results with conditions well beyond musculoskeletal pain, including migraines, Crohn's disease, constipation, insomnia, acid reflux, and food intolerances, among others. Because chiropractic care supports the nervous system, its benefits often extend to whole-body health in ways that surprise new patients.
Yes. We are in-network with several insurance companies, and we also welcome cash-paying patients. We offer family plan discounts as well, so ask us about options for your household. If you are a new practice member, your first visit, which includes an exam and adjustment, is just $49.
Our goal is straightforward: get you moving, sleeping, and feeling better without joint pain holding you back. Using the Zone Technique along with Full Spine and Activator adjusting, we build a personalized care plan around three outcomes: moving, running, and hiking without joint pain; sleeping better with more energy; and feeling calmer and more settled in your body. Dr. Tyler is also Webster certified, the only practitioner in the area with that designation.
We commonly help with joint pain from running or hiking, general body pain, poor sleep, low energy, and feeling more calm and settled in your body and daily life.
Your first visit takes about 30 minutes and covers your health history, a thorough exam, and your first adjustment. It is short and straight to the point. We will walk you through a simple care plan, laid out honestly so you know exactly what to expect. Paperwork is quick too: just what is bringing you in, some identifying information, and informed consent.
We believe in being upfront about care rather than promising quick fixes. Most care plans run 24 to 32 visits because real, lasting change takes time. We will walk you through your plan in full so there are no surprises along the way.
